This bike has been sold.
I am leaving this page active for those who may be interested in the photos (below).
Honda 450 Nighthawk CB450SC for sale by owner - $900 or best offer.

This is a 1982 model CB450SC Nighthawk (burgundy) purchased new in 1984 from a Honda dealer.
It was purchased for utility transportation use - never abused or driven hard (I am still alive and uninjured).

It has a KG Engineering back rest, rear rack, crash bar, and locking removable trunk with brake, directional, and riding lights.
It has a National Cycle windshield which gives full face protection from the wind blast and bugs coming from straight on. It has 22,253 easy miles on the odometer with no off road riding at all.

It has short handlebars and allows the rider to sit straight up with arms out straight with one’s back pressed against the adjustable back rest - very comfortable and easy on one’s back.
This bike sits the rider somewhat high unlike Harleys. A short person may have difficulty safely reaching the ground with feet while seated. It does not leak any oil at all! It has a center stand as well as side stand.

This is a small highway-worthy bike of about 400lbs and is quite comfortable to ride

The Yuasa YB12A-A battery, installed new in April 2006, is kept fully charged with daily charging and is kept full with distilled water.

I also have a pair of large Tour Rider bib pants (luminous “Early Warning” gray-white-large) for sale ($70) for cold weather riding.
A pair of Griffs yellow wet weather riding coveralls (large) and top are also available ($50). I will post photos of these two items as soon as I am able.

The Clymer Service, Repair, and Performance manual is included along with the owners manual. My half helmet (white) is also available ($20).

It is time to sell this bike as I no longer need to use it and I am at that point in my life where I do not feel so comfortable and safe riding it.

Please review this maintenance and mileage log to see its history and all that has been done to it.

The bike is located in Millwood, New York 10562. Buyer must pick up or arrange transport.
Payment can be by check with delay for clearing, certified check, or the best and fastest way: PayPal.
